What A Ride! “We are a biker church, not A ‘church’ for bikers!”
If we have to explain, you wouldn’t understand…
Our Story began with a real passion to introduce bikers to Jesus Christ, and provide them with a real place to grow into committed followers of Him. NOT simply to introduce them to church, but to Jesus! For us, the ministry of Freedom Biker Church represents a place of belonging for those who come. We have worked hard to create a church culture that is relevant to the motorcycle community. A place where folks can grow spiritually in a natural way. Welcome to Freedom!
After serving as pastor in mainstream churches for more than 15yrs., in September 2005 God placed a burden and passion on the hearts of Mike and Charlene Beasley to offer motorcyclist a church of their own. A church that would look like, feel like, and be like them. Real! A church that would affirm the biker way of life, providing the same Brotherhood as enjoyed in the biker community.
Freedom Biker Church is just that, A Biker Church. We don’t have back patches (colors), or rockers to distinguish territories. We are not a Motorcycle Club (M/C), or Motorcycle Ministry (M/M). We are a biker church started with the sole purpose of reaching out to non-church going motorcyclist
The first Freedom Biker Church (Our current Home Office location in Angier, NC) was launched, with the help of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Johnston Baptist Association, on the side of the highway in Johnston County, NC in July 2006. What a ride it has been. Freedom Biker Church has proved to be a successful tool in reaching and disciplining non-church going bikers. And now, along with Southern Baptist Conventions, area Baptist Associations, local churches of like faith, and surrounding motorcycle ministries, we have begun persuing the call of reduplicating that original model all across the country.
Even though every Freedom Biker Church is an independent church in and of itself, they all are representatives of the original model for FBC carrying within each of them the same passion, desire, and realness to reach non-church going bikers with the message of Real Freedom!
From our Rockin’ Rallies to our weekly Bible studies all the way down to our wide-open Kidz ministries, everything about our churches is Full Throttle and geared toward helping folks get through life, and get real with God. So, gear up, jump on, and hold on tight as we ride, for Christ’s sake. Because nothing else will ever give you Real Freedom like He will.
